Lucas Papaelias (LPfunK) is an actor / musician / composer / filmmaker who originated the role of Balth in These Paper Bullets! at Yale Rep, the Geffen, and the Atlantic. He was an original cast member of the Tony-winning musical Once on Broadway, and had a recurring role on the Cinemax medical drama The Knick. He also appeared onscreen in School of Rock, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and in the feature film Ordinary World  (starring Billie Joe Armstrong). Other onstage credits include Cyrano  on Broadway (w/ Kevin Kline), This Flat Earth at Playwrights Horizons, Jack’s Precious Moment at 59E59, and Cellini at Second Stage. He received a Drama Desk nomination for Best Original Music in a Play for his work on Essential Self-Defense at Playwrights Horizons.
