ADAM STEIN

General Practitioner

Adam Stein is one of the founders of The Petersons, along with fellow New Neighborhood company member Keira Naughton. Currently he is a writer for the television, having most recently worked with Mr. Rolin Jones on The Exorcist, a series for the Fox Broadcasting Company about demons and religion and stuff. Previous to the writing for the television, he was a professional actor for many, many years, having performed at such well-regarded American theaters as the Old Globe, Steppenwolf, Seattle Rep, The Guthrie, The McCarter, Geffen Playhouse, and the Williamstown Theater Festival. Once, he also played a bird in The Lion King on Broadway. He sort of studied English at Yale and has an MFA from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program. These days he’s working on a new pilot for Amazon about the soaps in the early-80s. It’s kinda based on the life of John Stamos, who’s a real stand-up guy and a hell of a drummer.
